So the press are at it again, this time the news on one of the tv stations. The reporter after the Pope's funeral stated that it was the biggest ever in history. So I climbed up on my high horse and started to doubt his intelligence.
But then I gave it some thought and, if you go on the numbers of mourners (and those that just go to say they were there) then yes, it probably is. (Although does anyone know the number of mourners for Gandhi?)
But if the reporter was basing his statement on the size of the funeral as in the importance of the man, then yes, it was pretty big. But the biggest in history?
