One subject I've not mentioned this year (that I can remember at least) is books. After I didn't shut up about them all last year there's been a drought. And I know how interested in my reading you are...

So this year I started like a shot and had read 14 books by the end of February. I've slowed a little in recent weeks and did take 5, 8 and then 7 days to read three books.

So the current total stands at 26 completed; 27 was Captain Cook's logs/journals of his three expeditions. I only got through 100 pages out of the 600 and had to put it aside. While I do find it interesting it tends to get a little tedious at times. I do plan on finishing it at some stage though.

Lucky for me I didn't attempt to read the original publication of his journals - they were originally published in four volumes. Ooh my head.
