Mr Sexist Rascist Negativity

At the risk of sounding sexist: Nessun Dorma does NOT sound good sung in soprano. I happened to be in a shop the other day when I heard a cd with a woman (obviously) singing it. Not that she didn't have a very nice voice; just not for Nessun Dorma.
And at the risk of sounding rascist: I know I've mentioned this before but I can't understand how if you're born in this country you can so rabidly support another country, be it in sport or anything else. (This was again brought home last week when Australia played Greece in the soccer/football.) I know it's the country of your parents or grandparents or whatever but surely your heart, and support, should belong to this country. Yes, remembering where you came from is good, but really, where does that leave me now for the World Cup? Should I support Australia, England or Italy?
