The PM and his deputy

Instead of arguing (again) about the leadership of this country and who said what when, the prime minister and his deputy ought to actually start governing this country in a reasonable, empathetic and caring way.
But instead they fuck about arguing selfishly over the leadership. The deputy would be an even worse prime minsiter as the current one; he's showing, as he always does, his unending arrogance.
Just goes to show, again, their lack of respect for the people of this country.
(Two minutes ago they had an oil industry expert on the news predicting Australians could be paying $6 a litre for petrol by 2020. There you go, prime and minister and deputy, how about scrapping the GST and some of the taxes on fuel now to ease the burden on your fellow Australians. And maybe also promise you'll try to keep taxes on fuel to a minimum in the future. I know you and all your politician friends don't have to buy much fuel for yourselves as you get taxpayer-funded vehicles and drivers, but it would be a start. Yeah, I've said it before and I know they won't do anything till it becomes a huge election issue, but still, I can whinge about it some more.)
