imperfect crime 2006-10-03 - 11:17 p.m. Happened to catch one of those true crimes tv shows last night. Each show is a case from the files of some woman who is a you-beaut profiler who works for some crime fighting government department in the US. I've never watched a full show before last night and while it was good they caught the guy who'd allegedly committed the crime, I wasn't really impressed with something. The you-beaut, shithot profiler said she knew this guy had done it because he was wearing C0nverse sneakers, the same brand of sneakers that left footprints in the bedroom where the crime was committed. I could understand if she'd have said his DN@ was found at the scene or similar. Or all the blood found in the boot of the car he was driving when pulled over was a telling factor. But no, it was the shoes he was wearing. I'm not saying he didn't commit the crime but I also don't want to be anywhere near where she's solving a crime.
